This will be a relaxed evening bird walk around the famous Montrose Point Bird Sanctuary, dunes, and beach area. Mid-September is the peak of migration for many songbirds, some of which stop here as they migrate along the lakefront. The mix of habitats means warblers, shorebirds, and more! We will meet at the entrance gate to the bird sanctuary, along Montrose Harbor Drive (41.9626, -87.6348).

Metered street parking is along Montrose Harbor Drive; free park not far away within Lincoln Park is along Montrose Ave and also Simonds Dr.
