Join Matthew Dolkart (@thebirdherder) for a two-hour guided walk around Montrose Point Bird Sanctuary starting at 6am.

At Montrose, you'll soak in the best the city has to offer in urban bird photography. Along the way, you'll boost your knowledge in basic photography techniques and concepts, learn to incorporate the urban landscape into your photography and leverage knowledge about habitat to create some bangers for the 'gram (or for your fridge at home).

Terrain: Mixed terrain from sandy beach to dirt, gravel and paved paths.

Notes: We will meet at 41.963350, -87.636075 at 6am. Parking is free until 8am (metered after 8am) on Montrose Harbor Dr. or free all day on N Simonds Dr. Closest open bathrooms at this hour will be port-a-potty style and about a 10-minute walk.
