Part of the historic Chicago park and boulevard system, Douglass Park is a 218 acre park with over 210 bird species recorded on the West Side of Chicago.

This large urban oasis includes two lagoons, marsh, trees, and shrubs that attract both residents and migrants. It’s a great place to look for both migrating waterbirds and songbirds in the fall. One of the less birded parks in Chicago, but feels like a bit of an adventure every time!
