Join us for a delightful morning of bird watching at Big Marsh, located in the vibrant Lake Calumet region!

A Big Sit is perfect for bird enthusiasts of all ages and levels. It's a relaxed style of birding where participants stay within a designated area and observe as many bird species as possible from that spot. Enjoy bird watching without the need for extensive walking or traveling. Bring your binoculars, a spotting scope if you have one, and a comfortable chair… settle in to enjoy the serene environment as we observe a variety of bird species in their natural habitat.

Big Marsh is a fantastic location, offering a unique chance to witness these beautiful birds in an urban setting. We will be on the lookout for migrant passerines, shorebirds, and wading birds, making this an exciting opportunity to spot a diverse array of avian life.
